Signs of a bad cv axle

Some of the main signs of a bad cv axle are a clicking sound when turning the wheel, a grinding sound while in motion, grease leaking onto the tire or rim, a torn cv boot, or a vibration. The signs of a failing wheel bearing are similar to those of a cv axle. Most of the time there will be a noticeable hum, vibration, pulling to one side, an audible whining sound, or even a wheel with play in it on all sides when lifted.
