How do you JUMP START YOUR CAR's battery?

To jumpstart a car battery, start by connecting the positive end of the jumper cables to the positive terminal on your battery, then hook up the other end of the positive side or red side of the cables to the providing vehicle. Next, connect both grounds and with the donor vehicle running, try to start your car. If there is not enough voltage, allow the providing vehicle to run for 20 minutes before trying again. If that doesn't work, call Fast T's on-site battery services. If the jumpstart is successful, let the car run for a few minutes to regain voltage levels in your car's battery. It's important to note that some vehicles should not be jumpstarted to avoid damage, and also to avoid hooking the ground anywhere close to the metal bracket on the ECM or engine control module.
